‍ ‍ , , , 1945 - 02 , 2023 ‍‍ 12 Jyaistha 12, Friday , Saka 1945- June 02, 2023 ‍4‍() ‍‍(I) ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍(‍‍‍ ‍ ) ‍ DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT NOTIFICATION Jaipur, May 31, 2023 G.S.R.33 . -In exercise of the powers conferred by section 64 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (Central Act No. 6 of 1974), the State Government, after consultation with the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Rules, 1975, namely:- These rules may be called the Rajasthan Short title and commencement. -Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) (Amendment) Rules, 2023. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. Amendment of rule 29. -In rule 29 of the Rajasthan Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Rules, 1975,- (i) in sub-rule (2), after the existing proviso, the following new proviso shall be added, namely:- "Provided further that the fee payable by the industries/mines securing Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum rating under the Scheme for Green Rating System launched by the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) shall be as under:- H owever in case of any non-compliance of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 or rules made or orders issued thereunder during the period of consent then the balance amount of the consent fee so as to make it 100% as per Schedule IV shall be recovered from the occupier of such industry/ mines."
