NO TECALLON Wrereas the draft of certain Rules which the Administration of Daman & Diu propose to mnake in exercise of powers conferred under Section 211 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act No 59 of 1988) and as amended by Act 54 of 1994 were published as required by sub seclion {1) of Section 212 of the said Act in the Gazette of Daman & Diu Administration, Extraordinary Series No 09 dated 04/07/2006, irviting objections and suggestions from all persons Iikely to be affected thereby before the expiry of fifteen days from the date on which the copies of the Gazette In which the said notification was published, were made available t the public; AND WHEREAS the copies of the said Gazette were made available t0 Itie public on the July 2006. AND WHEREAS, No ohjection and suggestion has been received on the said draft rules. NOW; THEREFORE, in exercise af (he powers conferred by Section 211 of Motor 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988) and as amended by Act No.54 of 1994 Vehicles Act, the Administrator ol Daman & Diu I5 pleased amend the Daman & Diu Motor Vehicles 1989 as follows Short title and commencement (1) These Rules may be called the Daman & Diu Motor Venicles ( 1s' Amnendment) Rules 2006 Thev shall come into force at once Amnercment of Rulcs 315 Rule 315 shall be Substituted as below 315, For assignment of a registration mark for a vehicle of the choice of the applicant; Ihe following fees shall be levied as per the terms & conditions mentioned below Sr. Category of Standard Type of Vehicle No Numbers Fees 2_ 3 4 Non Transpon Vehicles Oooi t 0009 Rs 30,000/- 2 Non-Transport Vehicles
