S,) R. 8l/. 22-4/92-~In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 22-A of the Punjab Privately Managed Recognised Schools Employees (Security of Service) Rules, 1981, and-all: other powers enabling him in this behalf, the President of India is pleased to make the following scheme for the grant of retirement benefits to the employees of the Privately Managed Recognised Aided Schools, namely: SCHEME Chapter-I 1. Short title and commencement: - (1) This Scheme may be called the Punjab Privately Managed Recognised Aided Schools Retirement Benefits Scheme; 1992 (2) It shall be deeme . to have come : to force on and with effect from the fifth da; of February, 1987. 2. Definitions ~~In this Schenze unless ine context otherwise requires,_ (a) 'Department' means the Department of Education (b) 'District Education Officer (Schools)' means an Officer appoin- ted as such by the Government and includes the District Education Officer (Primary ) 'Forn' means a form appended to this Schene d) 'Government means the Government of the State of Punjab in the Department of Education '(e) Pay' means the amount drawn monthly by an employee as, (i) Pay, other than. special pay or pay granted in viewv of" his personal qualifications, which has been sanctioned for 4 post held by him substantively 0 in an officiating capacity Or to which he is enlitled by reason of his position in 3 cadre" (ii) Special pay and personal pay and (iii) any other emoluments which may specifically be classified a8 pay by the Punjab Government in the case of Govern - ment employees and I) OrIIL_ 48 PUNJAB GOVT GAZ (EXTRA) FEB.
