eForest Department Haryana AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT FORESTS NOTIFICATION The 10th April,1957. 8428-Ft-56/908 Whereas by Punjab Government Development Department Notification No.1710-D-52/1488 dated 12th April, 1952, the Governor of Punjab declared that it was proposed constituted the area specified below as reserved forests; And whereas the forest settlement of this land has now been completed in accordance with Chapter II of the Indian Forest Act, 1927; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 of said Act, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to declare that the areas specified below, the limits of which are defined by boundary marks (Pillars) errected on the ground and map kept in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Gurgaon, to be reserved with effect from the date after expiry of four weeks from the date of this notification and thereafter the said forest shall be deemed to be a reserved forest until further orders.
