1. THE CHILD LABOUR (PROHIBITION AND REGULATION) ACT, 1986. NOTIFICATION THE 28TH OCTOBER, 1997 No. S. O. 115/C.A. 61/86/S. 17/97.—In Supersession of Government of Punjab, Department of Labour and Employment, Notification No. S. O. 28/C. A. 61/86/S. 17/87, dated the 27th July, 1987 and in exercise of the powers conferred by section 17 of the Child Labour (prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 (Central Act, No. 61 of 1986) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to appoint the following persons as inspectors for the purposes of securing compliance with the provisions of the said Act, namely. Sr. No. Designation of persons Labour Commission, Punjab. Additional Labour Commissioner, Punjab. Additional Director of Factories, Punjab. All the Joint Directors of Factories in the State of Punjab. Deputy Labour Commissioner, Punjab. All the Deputy Directors of Factories in the State of Punjab. All the Assistant Labour Commissioners in the State of Punjab. All the Assistant Directors of Factories in the State of Punjab. Statistical Officer (Labour), Punjab. All the Labour-Cum-Conciliation Officers in the State of Punjab. All the Labour Inspectors Grade-I in the State of Punjab. All the Labour Inspectors, Grade-II in the State of Punjab. G. K.
