> To , No.24021/05/2015-PM-I Government of India Ministry of Home Affairs Jaisalmer House , 26 Man Singh Road , New Delhi-110011 , dated the 7 th September , 2015 OFFICE MEMORANDUM Subject: Enforcement of Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act , 2005 -imparting mandatory training to private security guards - regarding . As per Section 9 of the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act , 2005 "Every Private Security Agency shail ensure imparting of prescribed training and skills to its Private Security Guards and Supen/isors" . The matter regarding engagement of untrained security guards/supervisors by some establishment has been brought to the notice of Ministry of Home Affairs . All the State Governments/Controlling Authorities are , therefore , advised to strictiy ensure that the private security guards are mandatorily imparted training by registered training institutes before their appointment as security guards as prescribed in the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act , 2005 and related State Ruies .
