O. 1253(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 26 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulations) Act,1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby directs that the power exercisable by it under the proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 5 of the said Act, shall be exercised by Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal, so far as it relates to coal and lignite in respect of Coal Public Sector Undertakings.
