EDUCATION SECRETARIAT NOTIFICATION No. ED 308 URC 2004, Bangalore, dated 1st October, 2004 Karnataka Gazette Extraordinary No. 1100, dated 1-10-2004 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Karnataka State Universities (Amendment) Act, 2004 (Karnataka Act 10 of 2004), read with sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Karnataka State Universities (Amendment) Ordinance, 2004 (Karnataka Ordinance 1 of 2004), the Government of Karnataka hereby appoints the First day of October, 2004 to be the date on which the said Act and the Ordinance shall come into force.
