EX-36l/94 . -In pursuance of the Notification No. 464fARUN-LA , !94 dated 4th January, 1995 issued by the Chief Electoral Officer, Arunachal Pradesh and (he direction of the Ejection Commission of India vide No. 576/14 , 194/P -S . T/7653 dated 23rd December , 1994 the Government of Arunachal Pradesh in exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 179 of the Arunachal Pradesh Excise Rules , 1994, hereby declare and notify the following period as " DRY DAYS". . A . (i) The period of two days before the polling day, (ii) The polling day, (iii) The day after the poll , (i v) The day before the counting day, ' (v) The counting day (s), and (vi) The day immediately thereafter are so notified. B . (i) No liquor shops , hotels, restaurents , clubs and other establishment selling! serving . liquor shall be permitted to sell/serve liquor to anyone wheresoever on the aforesaid days . (ii) The storage or liquor by individuals in unlicenced premises is also pro -hibited during the above period. The Deputy C()!l1 missioners/Collectors arc requested to take appropriate , legally effective measures to implement the above prohibition and assist the election authorities in the peaceful and smooth conduct of free and fair poll. The Deputy Commissioners may also take appropriate actions as provided under section 21(1) of Arunachal Pradesh Excise Act , 1993 . D .
