No. 124/2013--In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 7-C of the Odisha Education Act; 1969, (Odisha Act 15 of 1969), the State Government have been pleased to make the following order to amend the Odisha (Aided Colleges,Aided Junior Colleges and Aided Higher Secondary Schools) Grant-in-Aid Order; 2008 to regulate the payment of GIA in shape of Block Grantto Private Educational Institutions or for any post or to any person employed in such institution namely 1. (1) This order may be called the Odisha (Aided Colleges, Aided Junior Colleges and Aided Higher Secondary Schools) Gran-in-Aid Amendment Order; 2013. (2) It shall apply to the Non-Government Colleges, Junior Colleges and Higher Secondary Schools: (3) It shall come into force on the date ofits publication in the Odisha Gazette: 2. In the Odisha (Aided Colleges, Aided Junior Colleges and Aided Higher Secondary Schools) Grant-in-Aid Order; 2008,Para: 16 (1) of the order shall be substituted as follows "The teachingand Non-teaching employees ofthe non-Government Educational Institution under Paragraph 9 of GIA Order; 2008 who havejoined in their posts on or before the 1st June 1998 in Educationally Advanced Districts and on or before the Ist June 2000 in Educationally Backward Districts and Women's Educational Institutions established with recognition and affiliation covered under Grant-in-Aid Order; 2008 shall be paid Grant-in-Aid in shape of Block Grant in the following manner (a) The eligible employees of these colleges shall be paid 60% of Pay at the initial rate plus Grade Pay in the
