HARYANA GOVERNMENT ANIMAL HUSBANDRY & DAIRYING DEPARTMENT Notification The 14th September , 2018 No. 10145/2018 -ACSAHD -In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section 1 of Section 6 of the Haryana Murrah Buffalo and other Milch Animal Breed (Preservation and Development of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Sector) Act. 2001 (6 of 2001) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Haryana , hereby specifies five paise per liter of milk to be the rate of milk cess for the purpose of the said Sub -section w.e.f. f. 4/2/2016. For those milk plants who have deposited the cess already @ ten paise per litre after 4/2/2016 , the excess amount calculated @ five paise per litre will be adjusted against future accruals. Those who have not deposited the same will have to pay @ five paise w.e.f. f. 4/2/2016 and the Interest/Penalty shall be calculated on the amount due at that rate w.e.f. f. 4/2/2016 only and at older rate for the amount due before that.
