LAW AND JUDICIARY DEPARTMENT Madam Cama Marg, Hutatma Rajguru Chowk, Mantralaya, Mumbai 400 032, dated the 27th August 2014. NOTIFICATION COMMISSIONS FOR PROTECTION OF CHILD RIGHTS ACT, 2005. No. SPC 1314/C.R. 67/D-IX.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 of the Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005 (4 of 2006), the Government of Maharashtra, with the concurrence of the Hon'ble Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court of Judicature at Mumbai, hereby appoints all the Sessions Judges, Additional Sessions Judges and Ad-hoc Additional Sessions Judges, to preside over the Special Courts constituted under section 25 of the said Act, to exercise jurisdiction and power under the said Act, for the area comprising within the sessions division for which they are appointed under section 9 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. The Principal District and Sessions Judge of the concerned district shall distribute the special cases filed under the said Act amongst all the Judges.
