© Government of Haryana No. 32 - 2018] CHANDIGARH, TUESDAY, AUGUST 7, 2018 (SRAVANA 16, 1940 SAKA) PART -I Notifications, Orders and Declarations by Haryana Government (TO BE SUBSTITUTE BEARING SAME NUMBER AND DATE) HARYANA GOVERNMENT ANIMAL HUSBANDRY & DAIRYING DEPARTMENT Notification The 20th April, 2018 No. 2725(CFMS)-AH-4-2018/10032 . — The Governor of Haryana is pleased to constitute the State Animal Welfare Board, Haryana for animal welfare and appoint the following as its member: Official Members: Non Official Members: Haryana Government Gazette Published by Authority The function of the State Animal Welfare Board, Haryana shall be as follows: (a) To ensure proper implementation of "Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960," The Haryana Gauvansh Sanrakshan and Gausamvardan Act, 2015 (Haryana Act No. 20 of 2015). The Cattle Trespass Act, 1871 and other Acts/Regulations for animal welfare applicable to the State of Haryana. The Board may give directions to the concerned department/agencies and review their performance in this regard. (b) To co-ordinate activities relating to the preservation and development of cattle for increasing the production of Milk and draft power. (c) To organize and co-ordinate the activities of Gaushala and Prinjraples on matters relating to the development of Cattle wealth and establishment of Gaushalas on proper lines. (d) To co-ordinate and review various schemes relating to increasing production of feed and fodder, salvage of dry cattle, rearing of calves, rounding up of stray cattle and their proper rehabilitation. (e) To review from time to time the progress of schemes relating to preservation and development of cattle in the light of the coordinated programme and policy laid down for the country and to consider such additions and a
