Government of Rajasthan: Urban Development Department F.12(231)/UDH/3/2014 Jaipur, Dated. ® Q HEC 2018 NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 74 read with sections 43 and 60 of the Rajasthan Urban Improvement Act, 1959 (Act No. 35 of 1959), the State Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Improvement Trust (Disposal of Urban Land) Rules, 1974 and orders with reference to proviso to sub-section (2) of section 74 of the said Act that the previous publication of these amendment rules is dispensed with as the State Government, in public interest, considers that these amendment rules should be brought into force at once, namely:- Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Ra'asthan Improvement Trust (Disposal of Urban Land) (.....Amendment) Rules, 2018. They shall come into force at once. Amendment of rule 17.- In rule 17 of the Rajasthan Improvement Trust (Disposal of Urban Land) Rules, 1974,- (i) in clause (g) of sub-rule (2), for the existing expression "Handicap persons", the expression "Persons with benchmark disabilities as defined under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (Central Act No. 49 of 2016) with appropriate priority to woman with such disability" shall be substituted; and (ii) in clause (e) of sub-rule (3), for the existing expression "3%", the expression "5%" shall be substituted.
