In super-session of Punjab Government; Labour Department; Notification No. 6766-2-L&E-68/24144 dated the 12th August, 1968, as amended with Notification No. 3343-6 L&E-68/13349, dated the 21st April, 1969 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Punjab Industrial Establishments (National and Festival Holidays and Casual and Sick Leave) Act; 1965 (Punjab Act No: 14 of 1965), the Governor of Punjab is pleased to appoint the following officers of the Labour Department, Punjab to be Inspectors for the purposes of the said Act, They shall exercise all the powers of an Inspector within the whole of the State of Punjab with immediate effect Serial Designation No. Labour Commissioner; Punjab. Joint Labour Commissioner; Punjab Deputy Labour Commissioner; Punjab. Assistant Labour Commissioner; Punjab. 1 Labour-cum-Conciliation Officer (Hqrs _ All the Labour-cum-Conciliation Officers in the State. All the Labour Inspectors Grade-I in the State.
