GAZ, MAR: 17, 2015 (PHGN. 26, 1936 SAKA) PART H | HARYANA GOVERNMENT ANIMAL HUSBANDRY & DAIRYING DEPARTMENT Notification The 9th March; 2015 No. 964-AH-4-2015/2603. _To control rabies and stray dog population in the State, the animal component of National Rabies Control Programme (NRCP) of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India is being implemented through Animal Welfare Board of India. To review, coordinate and monitor this programme in the State, the Governor of Haryana is pleased to constitute the State Level Monitoring cum Coordination Committee and District level Monitoring cum Coordination Committee as per the details mentioned below: State Level Monitoring cum Coordination Committee Chief Secretary to Government Haryana Chairman 2 Principal Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Principal Secretary, Panchayats Rural Development Representative from Animal Welfare Board of India Member 3 Member Member 5 Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry & Dairying Member Secretary The committee may meet on quarterly basis to monitor and review the overall performance of the programme in the State and recommend necessary directions for mid-course correction, if any_ (2) District Level Monitoring cum Coordination Committee Deputy Commissioner Chairman Additional Deputy Commissioner Vice Chairman 3 Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation/Executive Officer, Municipal Committee Member Representative of Public Health Department Block Development Officer in the respective Block Tehsildar of respective Tehsil Representatives of the District SPCA & other NGOs nominated by Deputy Commissioner Member Member Member Member 5 Representative of Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) to be nominated Member by AWBI: Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry Member Secretary
