Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Post Office Time Deposit Rules , 1981 , namely:— ' 1.(1) These rules may be called the Post Office Time Deposit (Amendment) Rules , 1987 . They shall come into force on the date of their"'publication in the Official Gazette . 2 . In the Post Olfice Time Deposit Rules , 1981 , in rule 7 , for Table G and the Note thereunder , the following Tables and Note shall be substituted , namelv : - "TABLE G , (For deposits'made on or after the 10th May , 1985 but before the 1st April , 1987) Period of deposit rVear 2 Years 3 Years 5 Years Rate of interest per annum 9 '/ a per cent 10 per cent 10 V 2 PC PC1" L "-nt 11 Y«-per cent TABLb II (For deposits made on or aRer the 1st April , 1987) Mote : For deposits made on or after the 1st October 1979 , interest will be payable al the rates specified in Table C or Table D or Table E or Table F or Table G or Table H , as the case may be , calculated at half yearly interest."' . 1 · (1) These rules may be called the National Savings Certificates (VI Issue) Amendment Rules , 1987 .
2 · . Rule 19 ot" t" the National Savings Certificates (Vf Issue) Rules , 1981 shall be renumbered as sub -rule (1) thereof and after sub-rule (1) as so renumbered , the following sub-rule shall be inserted , namely : —
1 · (1) These rules may be called the National Savings Certificates (VTT Issue) Amendment R.ules , 1987 .
2 · . In the National Savings Certificates (VII Issue) Rules , 1981 , in rule 19 , after sub-rule (2) , the following sub-rule shall be inserted , namely :—
1 · . (1) These rules may be called the Tndira Vikas Patra (Amendment) Rules , 1987 .
2 · Rule 8 of the Tndira Vikas Patra Rules , 1986 shall be renumbered as sub-rule (1) thereof and after
