HINDU MARRIAGE ACT, 1955. No. CRC. 2020/C.R. 79/Desk XII.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of section 3 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (25 of 1955), in its application to the State of Maharashtra and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf; and in partial modification of all earlier notifications issued in this behalf, in so far as they relate to the Ambad and the Ghansawangi Tehsils of Jalna District, the Government of Maharashtra hereby, with effect from the 21st February 2021, specifies the Court of Civil Judge, Senior Division at Ambad in Jalna District, as having jurisdiction in respect of the matters to be dealt with under the said Act within the local limits of ordinary jurisdiction of Court of Civil Judge, Junior Division, Ambad and Ghansawangi established under the Maharashtra Civil Courts Act, (XIV of 1869).
