Rajpatra, Extraordinary, dated 16th September, 1994, p. 1592 (2) - (4)].-Inexercise of the ?owers conferred by.sub-section (1) of Section 95 read with sub-section (3)of Section 46 of the Madhya Pradesh Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993 INo. 1'of 1994), the State Government hereby makes the-folloWingrules, the same having been previously pub-lished as required by sub-section (3) of section 95 of the said Act, namely:- Short title.-These rules maybe called the Madhya Prad~sh Gram Panchayat (Termof Officeof Members qf Standing Committee and proced .Ire for the Conduct ofBusiness) Rules, 1994. Definitions.-In these rules. unless the.context otherwise requires,- (a) "Act"means the Madhya P:-adeshPanchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993 (No.1 of 1994); .. .. / ., . .,/ (b) "Section"means a section ~f the Act.\ Standing Committees.-(l) Every Gram Panchayat may from amongst its Panchas constitute the followingstanding committees, namely:- (a) General d Administration Committee.-For all matters PI1 connected with establishment and--service~~or-Crammtters con Pa.I1cnayat-administration, apirovaRule TOC
4 · .. Term of member of Standing Committees~-The term of the .Chairman and members of the Standing Committee of a.Gram Panchayat shall be the same as tJ:at' ofthe Gram Panchayat.
7 · Meeting.-(l) Each standing committee sheillordinarily meet at least once in every month for the. transaction of business at the office of the Gram Panchayaf or at any other place on such date and at such hour as the Chairman ofsuch Committee may determine.
12 · Rules of Gram Panchayat to apply.-Rules for conduct ofbusiness of the general meeting of the Gram F'anchayat shall as far as may be' applicable to the meeting of the Standi:lg Committees.
