Act LIX of 1980) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) , the Governor is pleased hereby to make , after previous publication as required by sub-section (1) ofsection 600 ofthe said Act , the following amendments in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Building Rules , 2009 . published underthis Department notification Mo . 450/MA/O/C -4/ 3R -8/2003 , dated the 9 day ofSeptember, r, 2009 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules):- Amendments In the said rules , (I) after clause (44) ofrule 2 , insert the following clause:- ' (44A) " Personal Baby Care Room " is exclusively meant for nursing mother to breast feed her baby; ' after clause (j) ofsub-rule (2) ofrule 69 , insert the following clause: - ' ()Projected balcony one above another which may start from the second floor level and above at alternate two floors such that rooms ofthe lower floors get light and air and the projection being not more than 50% ofthe height ofthe storey immediately below without encroaching mandatory open spaces and permissible ground coverage provided that total area ofsuch balconies shall not exceed 3% ofthe respective gross floor area ofthe building ofwhich such projected balconie
