Act LIX of 1980) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) , the Governoris pleased hereby to make , after previous publication as required by sub-section ( 1) ofsection 600 ofthe said Act , the following amendments in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Building Rules , 2009 , published underthis Department notification No . 450/MAJO/C -4/ 3R -8/2003 , dated the 9th day ofSeptember, r, 2009 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules):- Amendments 3.olbata In the said rules , - for rule 49 , substitute the following rule:- · rs«r O in sub-rule (2) ofrule 59 , forthe number " 0 . 8% substitute the number " 1.00 " ; in rule 62 , afterthe first proviso , add the following proviso:- " Provided further that for building on a plot ofland measuring area upto 300 Sam Rear Open Space will be considered 3 . 5 metre instead of4 . 0 metre " ; in sub-rule (1) ofrule 74 , :- (a) in the Table , - (i) for the number " 5 . 0 " wh wherever it occurs , substitute the number " 4 . 25 " ; (ii) for the number " 7 . 0 " wh wherever it occurs , substitute the number " 6 . 75 " ; (b) to the Table , add the following proviso:- " Provided that the width ofmeans ofaccess mentioned in the Table above shall be taken as the average roa
