Government of Haryana ORDER DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT & CLIMATE CHANGE In pursuance of Rule 5 (6)(i) of Wetlands (Conservation and Management) Rules: 20)/7 issued by Government of India_ the Governor of Haryana is pleased t0 re-constitute Technical Committee" in place of earlier Technical Committce constituled vide ordler dated 28-08-2019. under Wetland Authority consisting of following members (0 review briel documents. management plans and advise on any technical matter in cases referred by Slale Wetland Authority The Technical Committee will consist of the following: Sh: M.D: Sinha, IFS; HIPA Haryana Chairman 2 Member Secretary, Haryana State Pollution Control Board Meinber 3 Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department; Haryana Member Director, Fisheries, Haryana Member 5 Director; Town and Country Planning Department, Haryana Member 6 Director, Development of Panchayats Department, Haryana Member Director, Urban Local Bodies Department, Haryana Member 8 Senior Scientist; SG (Environment/Forest) HARSAC Member Representative of Deputy Commissioner of concerned district Member 10 . ShSubhash Yadav, IFS, Divisonal Forest Officer, Gurugran Member Secretary/ Metropolitan Development Authority_ Convener Terms of Reference of the Technical Committee Technical Committee shall review the Brief Document of Wetlands prepared by Concerned Department: The Technical Committee shall submit its recommendations keeping Wetlands (Conservation & 2 Management) Ruls, 2017 notified by Govt: of India in mind and shall clearly list out activities to be prohibited or to be regulated for wetlands and its zone of influence separately. 3 The Teclnical Committee shall consider the matters as per the provisions contained in the Wetlands (Conservation and Management) Rules, 2017.
