{Part IV} DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY (PLANNING DEPARTMENT) (Directorate of Economics & Statistics) and Office of Chief Registrar of Births & Deaths) NOTIFICATION Delhi , the 22 nd June , 2000 S . No . F..5/VS/DES/2000/9199-409. -In exercise of the power conferred by section 30 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act , 1969 ( 18 of 1969) , the Lt . Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi , with the approval of the Central Government , hereby makes the following rules to amend the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths Rules , 1999 , namely:- RULES 1 . Short title , extent and commencement: (i) These rules may be called the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Rules , 2000 . (ii) They extend to the whole of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (iii) They shall come into force at once . 2 . Amendment of Form No , 2:-In Delhi Registration of Births & Deaths Rules , 1999 (hereinafter referred to as the "Principal Rules") , in Form No.2 , (relating to Death Report) , after the entry at Sr . No . 2 , the following entries shall be inserted namely:- "2A . Name of Father/Husband of deceased" 3 . Amendment of Form No.6 . – – In the Principal Rules , in Form No.6 (relating to Death Certificate) , after the entry titled "Name " and before the entry titled "Sex" , the following entry shall be inserted , namely:- “Name of Father/Husband of deceased” By Order and in the name of the Lt .
