No_ 30/2009 _ In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 7-C of the Orissa Education Act; 1969 the State Government do hereby make the following Order to regulate the payment of Grant-in-aid in shape of Block Grant to Private Educational Institutions or for any post or to any person employed in such institution being a Non-Government College; Junior College or Higher Secondary School as specified hereunder; namely 1. Short Title, Application and Commencement -(1) This Order may be called the Orissa (Non-Government Colleges, Junior Colleges and Higher Secondary Schools) Grant-in-aid Order; 2008. (2) It shall apply to the Non-Government Colleges, Junior Colleges and Higher Secondary Schools. (3) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Orissa Gazettee: 2. Definitions In this Order; unless the context otherwise requires; (a) Act" means the Orissa Education Act; 1969, (Orissa Act 15 of 1969); (b) "Amendment Act" means the Orissa Education (Amendment) Act; 1994 (Orissa Act 13 of 1994); (c) Annexure' means the annexure appended to this order; (d) "Block Grant" means a fixed sum of Grant-in-aid payable in accordance with the provisions of Para.16 (1); (e) "Council" means the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Orissa, constituted under the Orissa Council of Higher Secondary Education Act; 1982; "Director" means the Director Higher Education;, Orissa and includes any Officer notbelow the rank of Deputy Director who may be authorized by the State Government on that behalf from time to time by a general or a special . order to perform all o
