JULY 28, 2020 (SRVN: 6, 1942 SAKA) MUNICIPAL CORPORATION CHANDIGARH (Medical Officer of Health) Notification The 2lst July, 2020 Memo No. MOH/SI(HQ)2020/6433._Whereas draft of bye-laws for the registration of Pet Dogs in Chandigarh was published by the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh vide draft notification no_ MOH/SI(HQ)2020/205, dated 08/01/2020 inviting objections and suggestions from the general public within period of 30 days from the date of publication And whereas the objections and suggestions which were received from the general public for and against the said draft bye-laws have been duly considered by the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh: Now; therefore, the Administrator; Union Territory of Chandigarh, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under sub-section (1) of Sector 401 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act; 1976 as extended to the Union Territory, Chandigarh by the Punjab Municipal Corporation Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Act, 1994 (Act No. 45 of 1994), hereby makes to following bye-laws, proposed to be made by the Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh under Sector 325 and sub-section 1J(6) of Section 399 of the Act ibid, for regulating the registration and control of Pet Dogs in Chandigarh, namely 1_ Short title- These Bye-Laws may be called "The Chandigarh Registration of Pet Dogs (Amendment) Bye-laws 2020" These shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the official Gazette of Chandigarh Administration 2_ In "The Chandigarh Registration of Pet Dogs bye-laws 2010" in Clause No.3, the words and figures "Rs. 200" wherever occurring in the said Clause, shall be substituted with the words and figures "Rs. 500". 3_ In "The Chandigarh Registration of Pet Dogs bye-laws 2010" in Clause no.14, the words and
