ORDER; The following notification will be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette: NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, and all other powers hereunto enabling the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, issued in G.O Ms No.436 G.A (Ser.D) Department dated 15"h October; 1996 and a8 subsequently amended from time to time 2. The amendments hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from [4.02.2003. AMENDMENTS In the said rules;- I.(1) In rule 6(b), the.following shall be inserted as first proviso, namely - "Provided that forpromotion in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates only, the zone of consideration in the ratio of 1:3,shall not be applicable in respect ofposts whose total cadre strength is more than five" (PTO) 1l2I1 (2) After inserting the above proviso, a In the second proviso, for the words "'provided that" the words .
