(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires, Definitions (a) "Act" means the Legal Metrology Act; 2009 (Central Act [ of 2010) (b) "Reference Standards Laboratory' means & laboratory set up by the Central Government where reference standards, secondary standards and working standards are maintained; (c) "Schedule means a schedule appended t0 these rules; (d) "State Government means the Government of the State of Haryana in the Administrative Department (2) Words and expressions used in these rules and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned t0 them in the Act: 3.
