GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LAW DEPARTMENT Legislative West Bengal Act XXVIII of 1989 THE WEST BENGAL HOUSING BOARD (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1989. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature:] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 6th October; 1989.] [6th October 1989.] An Act to amend the West Bengal Housing Board Act, 1972. West Ben_ Act XXXII of [972 WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the West Bengal Housing Board Act, 1972, for the purposes and in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Fortieth Year of the Republic of India; by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows_ 1_ This Act may be called the West Bengal Housing Board Short title (Amendment) Act, 1989. and commen- cement _ (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 30th day of June, 1989. 2.
