MINISTRY OF WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8th February, 2012 G.S.R. 74(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (2) of Section 35 of the Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005 (4 of 2007), the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to various posts in the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, namely :— Short title and commencement—(l) These Rules may be called the National Commission for Protection of Chi Id Rights Staff Recruitment Rules, 2012. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. Application.—These Rules shall apply to the posts specified in column (I) of the Schedule annexed to these Rules. Number of post, classification and scale of pay.—The number of the posts their classification and scale of pay attached thereto shall be as specified in Column (2) to (4) of the said Schedule. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualification, etc.—The method of recruitment of the said posts, age-limit, qualification and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the Schedule aforesaid. Appointing Authority.—All appointments shall be made by the Member Secretary, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights. Disqualification.—No person,— (i) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or (ii)w ho, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment to the said post : Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such a marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other par
