M Panchkula eonar e g anchkula eonar e g PMDA PANCHKULA METROPOLITAN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, PANCHKULA NOTIFICATION Dated: 2%+ 3June, 2024 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (h) of sub-section (2) of section 58 read with section 31 of the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority Act, 2021, the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority, hereby, makes the following regulations to provide for engagement of experts, namely; Short title and commencement :-(1) These Regulations may be called the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority (Engagement of Experts) Regulations, 2022, They shall come into force on the date of their publication on the website of the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority. Definitions.~(1) In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires- (a) "Act" means the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority Act, 2021. (b) "Expert" for the purposes of these regulations means a person of integrity having special knowledge of, and experience in geo-spatial information systems and technology, urban planning, infrastructure engineering, communications technology, public transportation, road safety engineering, environmental policy and management, natural resources management, architecture, law, industrial policy, financial management, investment banking, accountancy, information technology systems etc. (c) "section" means a section of the Act. Words and expressions used herein and not defined in these Regulations but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act. fl,\’ 3i Engagement of experts. -The Chief Executive Officer may engage such number of experts and at such times, as the Chief Executive Officer deems necessary, in discharge of the functions of the Authority. 8 · Remuneration payable to experts.- The remuneration to be paid to different categories of experts shall be in accordance with Schedule 111: Provided that the remuneration payable to an expert who has been in the service of the Central Government or the State Government or any board, company, corporation, Authority or other agency owned or controlled by the Central Government or the State Government, shall be last pay drawn (Gross pay) immediately prior to retirement from the service of the Central Government or the State Government or any board, company, corporation, Authority or other agency owned or controlled by the Central Government or the State Government, minus the pension received.
